Breast Cancer Coach

Whether you’re recovering from breast cancer treatment or a preventative mastectomy, your body (and your heart) have been through a lot.

You might be dealing with side effects like chest tightness, pain, swelling, limited shoulder motion, fatigue, or a body that just doesn’t feel like yours right now. While all of these side effects are common, they are not something you have to simply live with or “just accept.”

You deserve individualized, specialized care that helps you feel stronger, more informed, and more like yourself again.

As a Certified Breast Cancer Coach, Oncology Physical Therapist, and Certified Lymphedema Therapist, I’m here to help you navigate recovery with fewer side effects, greater knowledge, and an improved quality of life. Through evidence-based education, therapeutic exercises, and rehabilitation strategies, we’ll address your treatment-related side effects and enhance your overall well-being.

You don’t have to face recovery alone. I’m here to stand beside you every step of the way.

  • Real Stories, Real Support.

I found Amanda online after being diagnosed as high risk for breast cancer. I knew I wanted to explore a preventative mastectomy, but I didn’t feel like I even knew what questions to ask my doctors. Amanda helped me from the very beginning of my mastectomy journey: holding space for my emotions, answering my questions, and ultimately helping me feel good in my body after my mastectomy.

Our sessions were the reason I was able to get my full range of motion back and start feeling like myself again. If you’re considering breast cancer coaching and physical therapy, I highly recommend you reach out. You truly don’t know how much it could improve your life. She completes thorough assessments in each session, walks you through exercises that are specific to you, and sends you photos of each exercise so you can remember how to do them on your own. Amanda’s care, kindness, and compassion were life changing for me.

  • Real Stories, Real Support.

Working with Amanda supported my recovery after breast cancer treatment in many ways, physically and mentally, which, in turn, supported my emotional well-being. She was always attuned to my goals and described each exercise in the context of my overall plan. Knowing why I was doing each one was very motivating!

Her expertise and experience also relieved me of mental energy I'd been spending researching and developing a plan to recover from surgery, minimize the risk of lymphedema, and move toward my goals (mobility, strength-training, lifting then shooting a basketball, etc.). Working through Amanda's progressive exercises actually made me excited to do planks--safely and with confidence!

Her attention, care, expertise, patience, clarity, and follow-up made a world of difference in my recovery. I'm so thankful for everything Amanda does to help us cancer survivors help ourselves!
